Design, and creative work in general, is so often judged by the end result - a good brand, album, artwork, story, song etc.. is praised for what it is.
Obviously, the end result is important, but the process of how you got to the end is usually as special as the end result itself. The product is defined by the process.
We love the process and if you’ve followed us for any period of time you would have noticed that it’s often the process we highlight far more than the end product.
This is a video about process - a quick look into the research that is going into a book we are working on of the modernist architecture of Abu Dhabi city. Not all days are winners or awe-inspiring, but what we find in between is what keeps us coming back and keeps us heading towards that end result.
