When Craft Meets Story
A little glimpse into devil masks, making, identity and storytelling in Mexico.

Entry
There’s the craft, then there’s the story behind the craft.
When those two things are well mixed it’s a window into something special - a narrative given life through human hands and passion.
This Mexican journey from a raw log to a sculpted, painted and pretty terrifying devil mask is beautiful for the craft and the story, a glimpse into a consuming process and the reason it consumes.
And as a bonus the director has a series highlighting artists working with copper, glazed pottery, stone & gold.
